As difficult as it may be to envision a world without the fervor of Jujutsu Kaisen, all good things must eventually come to an end. According to Gege Akutami, the creator of JJK, the manga is slated to conclude by Jump Festa 2025, as hinted during the Jump Festa 2024 event in December 2023.

While this revelation may sound daunting, it’s important to note that the lifespan estimate provides a timeline for the manga’s completion, leaving room for speculation about the anime adaptation’s duration. With Season 2 recently wrapping up, covering the story until the end of the Shibuya Incident Arc, and approximately 25-40 chapters remaining in the manga (barring any breaks), we can speculate on the future of the anime.

Predicting the Number of Future Seasons: Based on the remaining manga content, it’s reasonable to anticipate 4 to 5 seasons in total for Jujutsu Kaisen. While Mappa Studios has yet to confirm the anime’s length, this estimate aligns well with the amount of material left to adapt.

The number of future seasons left in Jujutsu Kaisen

  1. Season 3 could focus primarily on the Culling Game, concluding with the climactic battle involving Kenjaku, Yuki, and Choso.
  2. Season 4 might encompass the showdown between Gojo and Sukuna, possibly even being condensed into a movie for maximum impact.
  3. The final season would then cover the aftermath of this battle and the ensuing chapters, providing closure to the overarching narrative.

While Mappa Studios could opt to extend the adaptation with filler plots akin to Naruto or One Piece, such a decision seems less likely. Regardless of the number of seasons remaining, one thing is certain: the anticipation for how the story unfolds on screen is palpable and promises to be an exhilarating journey for fans.
