The NFL has seen its fair share of dynamic sibling duos, from the Mannings to the Watts and the Kelces. Among these standout pairs are the Diggs brothers, Stefon and Trevon, who have made significant impacts in the league at their respective positions.
Stefon Diggs, known as the Buffalo Bills’ star wide receiver, has solidified his place as one of the premier players at his position. Since joining the NFL in 2015 with the Minnesota Vikings, Diggs has earned multiple Pro Bowl and All-Pro selections. His move to Buffalo ahead of the 2020 season elevated him to the status of the Bills’ primary receiving threat, consistently surpassing 1,000 receiving yards each season and becoming a favorite target for quarterback Josh Allen.
On the defensive side, Trevon Diggs has been making waves as a standout cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys. Drafted in the second round in 2020, Trevon quickly became a ball-hawking force in the secondary. In the 2021 season, he led the league in interceptions with an impressive total of 11, earning him Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors. Unfortunately, his 2022 season was cut short due to an ACL tear in practice.
Despite both excelling in the NFL, there is a third Diggs in the league, Quandre Diggs, who plays as a cornerback for the Seattle Seahawks. However, it’s important to note that Quandre is not related to Stefon and Trevon, despite sharing the same last name. While Quandre hails from Texas, the Diggs brothers, Stefon and Trevon, originate from Maryland.
In terms of their college football journeys, Stefon attended the University of Maryland from 2012 to 2014. Despite dealing with injuries during his college career, he showcased his talents as a wide receiver and kick returner, earning recognition in the ACC.
On the other hand, Trevon opted to play for the legendary Nick Saban at the University of Alabama from 2016 to 2019. Initially contributing as a safety, wide receiver, and kick returner, Trevon eventually transitioned to a full-time cornerback role. His standout performances in his senior year earned him First-Team All-SEC and Third-Team All-American honors before declaring for the 2020 NFL Draft.
The Diggs brothers, Stefon and Trevon, have certainly left their mark on the NFL, showcasing their skills and contributing significantly to their respective teams.
