Jerry Seinfeld, known for his iconic sitcom Seinfeld, had a dating life that garnered attention before he settled down with his wife in 1999.
According to reports, Seinfeld dated several women before his marriage, including comedian Carol Leifer, Angela Hickerson, Caryn Treger, Monica Yates, Susan McNabb, Jennifer Crittenden, and Tawny Kitaen. One of his more infamous relationships was with Shoshanna Lonstein, whom he dated for four years when she was 18 and he was in his 40s. Many of his known exes had connections to the entertainment industry and worked with him during Seinfeld’s nine-season run.
Jerry Seinfeld met Jessica Sklar in 1998 at the gym. Sklar, who was going through a difficult period after a troubled honeymoon, initially rebuffed Seinfeld’s attempts to make her laugh. However, Seinfeld persisted, and his compassion toward her won her over. Despite initial reluctance due to her recent experiences, Sklar eventually started dating Seinfeld, and rumors of their relationship began to spread in October of 1999.
Contrary to tabloid rumors, Sklar clarified in a New York Times interview that her prior relationship was over before she met Seinfeld. By November of 1999, the couple was engaged, and they married a month later on Christmas day. They welcomed their first child less than a year after getting married and now have three children together: Sascha, Julian, and Shepard.
