South Korean actor Hyun Bin recently made headlines during his first fan meeting in the Philippines on August 8, 2025, at a hotel in Parañaque City. While talking to host Martin Nievera about souvenirs he might have kept from past shows, the crowd suddenly started shouting his wife’s name, Son Ye Jin.
At first, Hyun Bin looked confused and stepped closer to the crowd to understand what was happening. A fan explained they were calling Son Ye Jin his “souvenir,” which made him burst into laughter. Smiling, he told the host, “She told me, my wife.”
After the fun moment, he went back to answering the original question about actual souvenirs. He said that after finishing a project, he sometimes asks the props team if he can keep something. The item he remembered most was Kim Joo-won’s nameplate from Secret Garden, which he kept on his personal desk for a long time.
Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin first worked together in the 2018 movie The Negotiation, and later reunited in the hit K-drama Crash Landing on You from 2019 to 2020. Their on-screen chemistry turned into real life, and they got married in March 2022. The couple welcomed their first child the same year.
