Hailee Steinfeld has sparked excitement among Marvel fans by expressing her desire to return to the MCU — specifically alongside Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova. The two actresses previously shared screen time in Hawkeye (2021), where Steinfeld played the enthusiastic archer Kate Bishop and Pugh reprised her fan-favorite role from Black Widow.
In a recent interview with Collider, Steinfeld talked about her Marvel journey and remained tight-lipped on what might be coming next, joking about how those kinds of questions often “get [her] in trouble.” Though she didn’t confirm any upcoming projects, she made it clear that she’s eager for more — especially if it involves Florence Pugh.
She praised Pugh for making their limited scenes together instantly memorable, describing their collaboration as one that clicked right away due to shared commitment and natural chemistry. Reflecting on the experience, Steinfeld emphasized how much she enjoyed building the characters’ dynamic and how grateful she is for the audience’s response to Kate Bishop.
Steinfeld wrapped up by saying she’d jump at the chance to return, especially if it means diving deeper into the Kate-Yelena duo, adding, “She’s wonderful. I would do anything to work more with Florence… I think we’d have a lot of fun.”
While Marvel has yet to confirm when (or if) the two characters will reunite on screen, Steinfeld’s enthusiasm has only fueled speculation about a possible Young Avengers lineup or future Disney+ spinoff.
