Shares of KPI Green Energy moved sharply higher on Wednesday after the company posted solid third quarter results. The stock rose nearly 4 percent during the session on the BSE.

The stock has been fairly steady. It has gained around 6 percent over the past year. It is also up nearly 3 percent in the last one month.

The company announced its Q3 FY26 results during market hours. Revenue from operations came in at Rs. 662.86 crore. This was over 4 percent higher than the previous quarter. It was also nearly 45 percent higher than the same quarter last year.

Net profit showed strong growth. Profit for the quarter stood at Rs. 125.8 crore. This was about 8 percent higher compared to Q2 FY26. On a yearly basis, profit jumped nearly 48 percent.

Margins stayed healthy. Net profit margin improved slightly to 18.61 percent. Operating margin also expanded and reached 35.95 percent.

Debt levels increased during the quarter. The debt to equity ratio rose to 1.5. It was 0.81 in the previous quarter and 0.35 a year ago.

The board also announced a dividend. The company approved its third interim dividend of Re. 0.20 per equity share. Each share has a face value of Rs. 5. The record date is set for 28 January 2026.

Operational growth remained strong. By the end of 9M FY26, installed capacity crossed 1.12 GW. The company has built a land bank of more than 6,999 acres.

Power evacuation capacity stands at 3.57 GW. Orders in hand total 3.61 GW. This gives strong visibility for future growth. The company is targeting more than 10 GW capacity by 2030.

Total renewable energy capacity reached 4.74 GW in Q3 FY26. This is up from 3.4 GW a year ago. The IPP segment accounts for 2.17 GW. Out of this, 0.52 GW is already operational and 1.65 GW is under construction.

The CPP segment contributes 2.57 GW. Installed capacity here stands at 0.61 GW, with 1.96 GW under development.

KPI Green Energy is the renewable arm of KP Group. It develops and operates solar power projects across multiple locations. The company sells power under long term power purchase agreements. Its solar projects operate under the brand name Solarism.
