Fans are beyond excited. On July 20, actor Go Kyung Pyo revealed this news casually during a new episode of his YouTube series Cheerful Mr. Kyung-pyo, which aired on the GreenRoom Studio channel.
While he talked about it in a relaxed way, viewers quickly picked up on something they were very curious about—whether Ryu Jun Yeol and Hyeri, who were once a couple in real life, would both attend. The two had a widely known relationship that began after they starred in Reply 1988, and it lasted for nearly eight years before ending in late 2023. Their breakup came as a surprise to many fans, and now people are wondering if this reunion might be the first time the two see each other again in person.
In the episode, Go Kyung Pyo visited a soba noodle place he used to go to with his castmates from Reply 1988. He smiled while trying to remember who had joined him there before—maybe Park Bo Gum, Ahn Jae Hong, Ryu Hye Young, or Hyeri. He shared that despite everyone being busy these days, they try to meet at least once a year. Sometimes they even catch up in smaller groups more often.
