The supermodel revealed that her new boyfriend, Bradley Cooper, was right by her side during the morning of fashion’s biggest night, helping calm her nerves before the whirlwind began.
In an intimate chat with Vogue’s Emma Chamberlain on the Met Gala carpet, Hadid described a cozy and relaxed start to her hectic day, saying, “I woke up; I was with my man. We had a chill morning with some laughs.”
After the peaceful morning, Hadid retreated to her home for the final moments of preparation. Her pre-Gala routine included a shower, a fitting, comfort food—chicken fingers and fries—and then full glam. “Then I went to my house, had an hour by myself, then took a shower, had my fitting, had chicken fingers and fries, then got into glam,” she shared.
The 30-year-old supermodel dazzled on the red carpet in a shimmering gold halter-neck gown by Miu Miu, marking a glamorous celebration of her birthday month.
This backstage confession came just days after Hadid went Instagram official with Cooper, sharing a steamy kissing photo from her 30th birthday celebration at Saks Fifth Avenue, ending months of speculation about their relationship.
Hadid and Cooper, 50, have been dating since October 2023 but kept their romance largely private. In her April Vogue cover story, she revealed they met at a friend’s child’s backyard birthday party and noted how challenging it is to have a discreet and natural relationship amid their public lives.
The couple has also blended their families—Cooper is father to 8-year-old Lea De Seine with ex Irina Shayk, while Hadid shares 5-year-old daughter Khai with ex Zayn Malik.
