Things are heating up in Port Charles with plenty of secrets, family drama, and power struggles. Sonny Corinthos is worried sick that Carly Spencer might be rushing into a custody battle over Michael without thinking it through. Even though Sonny tries to warn her, Carly is determined to fight for custody on her own. Sonny’s worried this could cause big problems, so he’s thinking about stepping in—maybe by reaching out to Willow to try and calm things down.
Nina Reeves is also stressed out, especially when she tells Curtis Ashford that Willow has been served with custody papers. Nina’s worried about Drew Cain’s plan to make Michael look like an absentee dad and fears this could end badly. She might even try to convince Carly to hold off on the legal battle until Michael is in a better place.
Meanwhile, Drew drops a huge bombshell on Tracy Quartermaine, saying Mayor Laura Collins needs to be taken out as part of his bigger plan. Tracy isn’t totally comfortable with going that far, but since she also wants to take Sonny down, she might go along with it. Ava Jerome is giving Portia Robinson some tough-love advice on how to handle Drew’s blackmail.
On the family front, Gio Palmieri is feeling hurt and tells Brook Lynn Quartermaine that Dante Falconeri seems to want nothing to do with him. But the real shocker is that Lulu Spencer and Cody Bell are getting close to discovering a huge secret—that Brook Lynn might actually be Gio’s biological mom. Tracy tries to keep Brook Lynn calm, but they have no idea how close the truth is to coming out.
