Francia Raisa admitted she did not talk to Selena Gomez for six years.
The actress got candid about her rocky friendship with the singer following their reconciliation over the summer.
“It’s still crazy to me that people were invested in our friendship,” she told USA Today in an article published Thursday.
“I don’t know why the timing happened the way it did, but I remember being in St. Tropez in June and I kept talking about her. We hadn’t spoken much in six years. Especially the last year, we didn’t speak at all.”
Earlier in July of this year, the Back To You singer posted an Instagram tribute for Raisa’s 35th birthday, that the duo decided that it was time to reunite.
A month later in August, the duo were seen out together for the first time in long time at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California.
That night, the besties had “no beef, just salsa.”
Raisa explained that the two friends did not have any beef with each other. She added that if one has to ask either of them, they don’t know, but are sure that they needed that time apart.
