For All Mankind Season 5: Plot Details

In the next season of the series, set in part in the 2010s (right before the show starts), things have really changed for Mars since the last episode. Since last season, Mars has turned into a major urban area with on-planet residences and businesses, which makes this world a reliable base to begin exploration into other parts of the solar system.

As the nations of Earth work to impose laws on Mars, life for the inhabitants of Mars will become increasingly difficult due to political and cultural differences with their former home. The themes that are explored throughout this series are centered on the continuing struggle for independence, the breakdown of international relations (interplanetary), and the advancement of space travel (by uncovering our solar system). That leaves viewers to think about a potential revolution within Mars and/or the possibility of having rights to their own land.

The series continues to keep its tone of suspenseful space drama and continues to create real-world connections to what could happen in the future through imaginative “what if” scenarios. If you want to catch up on previous seasons, you can view all of those on Apple TV+ now! Are you looking forward to this new season?
