The court recently heard a defense argument concerning Christaine ‘Cathy’ Glotin, the only female suspect among the group accused of robbing Kim Kardashian at gunpoint in Paris. Glotin’s family members testified that she could not be guilty because “attacking a woman isn’t one of her principles,” according to The Sun.

Glotin is one of ten suspects charged with armed robbery and kidnapping related to the incident, which saw Kardashian allegedly held at gunpoint and tied up in her hotel room, with nearly $10 million worth of her jewelry stolen.

Kim Kardashian is reportedly preparing to testify in person at the trial. Her attorneys confirmed that she is committed to attending court on May 13 to give her testimony directly and confront her alleged attackers with “dignity and courage.” The trial is scheduled to wrap up by May 23.

Kardashian has previously spoken about the traumatic experience, expressing that she feared the robbers were “terrorists” planning to kidnap her, and she thought she was going to “die.”

Her legal team has chosen not to share details about her testimony ahead of time, wanting the public and the court to hear her words firsthand during the proceedings.
