The original post highlighted that both Jungkook and Winter had been seen wearing similar New York Yankees caps and pointed to Jungkook’s new golden in-ear piece, which allegedly resembled a model Winter also owns in other colors. The post-maker also cited their common love for tattoos and gym workouts as potential clues of a secret relationship.
However, fans from both fandoms were quick to step in and debunk the claims with clear and factual explanations. Regarding the in-ear pieces, fans clarified that the brand in question is a leading supplier in Korea, used by thousands of idols, and that Jungkook and Winter actually use different models. As for the Yankees cap, Jungkook’s version is from a 2021 collection that was massively popular and sold out quickly, making it a common fashion item. Winter was seen wearing the cap only once, and it was part of a styling choice for a photoshoot.
The idea that their shared interest in tattoos and working out suggests a relationship was also dismissed, as those traits are far from unique in the K-pop world. Jungkook’s gym habits were shaped by a fellow member’s brother, and the gym itself is popular among many celebrities, meaning any overlap in visits doesn’t indicate a personal link. In response, fans urged others to avoid jumping to conclusions based on surface-level similarities, calling out the post for fueling baseless rumors rooted in shipping fantasies rather than fact.
