Rumors about a Black Flag remake have been around for years. They resurfaced in summer 2025 when a fan shared a video with Edward Kenway’s voice actor, Matt Ryan. He teased that players “may have to beat it again.” Other leaks, including one from PEGI, hinted that the game could launch before the end of March 2026. Despite these hints, Ubisoft has not officially revealed the game yet, leaving fans eager for a first look.
Black Flag was released in October 2013 and remains one of the most beloved Assassin’s Creed games. Fans loved its mix of naval battles, stealth missions, assassinations, and high-seas activities like harpoon fishing and bell diving. Many social media posts reflect this nostalgia, with players hoping to return to the Caribbean adventure.
