Fallout season 2 is off to a strong start. Prime Video has shared an early look at how the show is performing. The numbers place it among the platform’s biggest successes.
According to Amazon, Fallout season 2 is currently the top performing season on Prime Video after Reacher season 3. That series launched in February 2025. Fallout still has two episodes left to release.
Prime Video also confirmed that Fallout season 2 is now the sixth most watched TV season in the platform’s history. It sits behind The Rings of Power seasons 1 and 2, Reacher seasons 2 and 3, and Fallout season 1.
The data shows the show is pulling in viewers from around the world. Amazon says 53% of the season 2 audience so far comes from outside the United States. The strongest international markets include the UK, Germany, and Brazil.
The series is also performing extremely well with men aged 18 to 34. That group makes up one of the show’s largest viewer segments.
Industry reports suggest season 2 is doing even better than the first. Deadline reports that Amazon MGM Studios sees the reception as a clear step up. Critics have responded more positively this time around. Rotten Tomatoes scores are reportedly higher than season 1.
Peter Friedlander, Head of Global TV at Amazon MGM Studios, said the company expects the numbers to keep rising as the final episodes are released. Amazon says more viewers are still discovering the show each week.
Even with the strong claims, Amazon has not shared exact viewing figures. This has led to some online speculation. Some viewers question the lack of transparency. Others believe Amazon is waiting until the full season finishes before releasing detailed data.
Season 2 also comes with a major change in strategy. Prime Video is no longer releasing the entire season at once. Instead, episodes are dropping weekly. This makes direct comparisons with season 1 more difficult.
The slower release has kept Fallout in conversation for longer. It has also helped build steady momentum rather than a single launch spike.
New episodes of Fallout season 2 release every Wednesday on Prime Video.
