Get ready for a glittering musical showdown — Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is almost here. According to the BBC, the Grand Final is set to air on Saturday, 17 May 2025, starting at 8 PM on BBC One and iPlayer.
This year, 26 countries will battle it out in the finale, but the full excitement begins earlier with two live semi-finals on May 13 and May 15, featuring all 47 participating nations competing for a spot in the finals.
Where’s it all happening?
The event will take place at Jakobshalle Arena in Basel, Switzerland, marking the city’s first time hosting Eurovision. Switzerland earned the honor after their artist, Nemo, won last year with the powerful track The Code.
Adding extra star power to the night, Doctor Who’s Ncuti Gatwa will serve as the UK’s spokesperson, revealing the British jury’s scores live during the Grand Final. Just before Eurovision airs, fans can also catch Gatwa in a special Doctor Who musical episode titled The Intestellar Song Contest.
Mark your calendars — Eurovision 2025 is set to be a show-stopper.
