The Euphoria cast has once again demonstrated the strength of their bond, as Colman Domingo, a co-star of Eric Dane, has shown his support after Dane’s shocking ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) diagnosis. On April 11, during the Emmy Luncheon, Domingo spoke to People magazine about the news, sharing that he had just learned of Dane’s diagnosis the day before and hadn’t yet had the chance to speak with him. He expressed his well wishes for Dane and said, “I’m wishing him well,” adding that he looks forward to working with him again in the future.

Eric Dane, known for his role as Cal Jacobs in Euphoria, made the heartbreaking revelation about his ALS diagnosis on April 10. In his statement, he expressed his gratitude for having the support of his “loving family” as they face the challenges that lie ahead. ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, is a progressive neurological disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, leading to loss of muscle control. Sadly, there is no cure for ALS, and it typically worsens over time.

Despite his diagnosis, Dane remains optimistic and has confirmed that he will continue working. He mentioned that he would be returning to the set of Euphoria for season 3, expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to keep doing what he loves. In his statement, Dane also requested privacy for himself and his family as they navigate this difficult journey.

Domingo’s show of support is a reminder of the close-knit community that the Euphoria cast has built, and it’s clear that they are standing by Dane during this challenging time.
