The global energy market saw a strong rally today. Oil prices moved sharply higher. Several fuels also recorded gains. The latest market data shows that energy commodities are witnessing strong momentum across weekly and yearly charts.

Crude oil posted one of the biggest daily gains among major energy assets. At the same time, Brent crude also climbed sharply. Other fuels like gasoline, heating oil and European gas markets also showed solid price growth.

The surge reflects tight supply conditions and steady global demand. Investors are closely watching energy prices as volatility returns to commodity markets.

Crude oil price jumps nearly 10%

Crude oil prices recorded a major spike in the latest trading session. Crude oil is currently trading at 89.056 USD per barrel. The price increased by 8.046 USD in a single day. This means a daily surge of 9.93%.

The weekly performance shows even stronger momentum. Crude oil prices are up 32.21% over the last week. Monthly growth stands at 37.67%. Since the beginning of the year, crude oil has climbed 54.31%. On a yearly basis, the price is higher by 32.17%.

Brent crude is also following the same trend. Brent is trading at 91.603 USD per barrel after rising 6.193 USD today. This marks a 7.25% daily gain. Brent prices have increased 25.29% over the week and 32.25% over the month. Year to date growth stands at 50.04%, while the yearly gain is 29.76%.

Urals oil is also moving higher in the market. The price currently stands at 71.97 USD per barrel. The commodity gained 1.66 USD today which equals a 2.36% rise. Weekly gains are 24.43% while the monthly increase is 27.67%. Year to date growth is 42.68% and yearly gains stand at 14.84%.

Natural gas prices show mixed movement

Natural gas markets are showing a mixed trend globally. US natural gas is trading at 3.0905 USD per MMBtu. The price rose 0.0875 USD today which equals a daily gain of 2.91%. Weekly performance shows an 8.13% increase.

However the monthly trend remains weak. Natural gas prices have fallen 1.49% over the month. The year to date decline stands at 16.13%. On a yearly basis the commodity has dropped 29.72%.

European gas markets are seeing stronger momentum. TTF gas is trading at 52.88 EUR per MWh after a 2.51 EUR rise. That equals a daily jump of 4.99%. Weekly gains are massive at 64.83%. Monthly growth stands at 57.26% while year to date performance is up 87.06%.

UK gas prices are also surging. The price currently stands at 135.7269 GBp per therm. It increased 4.2269 GBp today which equals a 3.21% rise. Weekly growth is 71.81% and monthly gains stand at 70.98%. Year to date performance shows an increase of 82.89%.

German gas prices also climbed strongly. The price stands at 51.38 EUR per MWh after gaining 1.95 EUR today. This represents a 3.94% increase. Weekly growth is 52.24%. Monthly gains stand at 47.88% while year to date performance shows a 71.27% rise.

Gasoline heating oil and coal record strong gains

Several refined fuels are also seeing major price movement. Gasoline is currently trading at 2.7087 USD per gallon. The price increased 0.0741 USD today which equals a 2.81% daily gain. Weekly growth stands at 17.13%. Monthly gains are 35.71%. Year to date performance shows a surge of 57.57% while yearly growth is 27.89%.

Heating oil is among the strongest performers in the energy market. The price stands at 3.6698 USD per gallon after rising 0.0555 USD today. This marks a 1.54% daily increase. Weekly gains are huge at 40.99%. Monthly growth stands at 51.44%. Year to date performance shows a surge of 72.53% while yearly gains are 65.68%.

Coal prices are also moving upward. Coal is trading at 135.25 USD per ton after gaining 2.35 USD. This represents a daily increase of 1.77%. Weekly growth is 13.51% while monthly gains stand at 17%. Year to date performance shows a 25.81% rise and yearly growth stands at 29.18%.

Other fuels are also seeing movement in the market. Ethanol is trading at 1.8650 USD per gallon with a daily gain of 3.61%. Naphtha stands at 698.70 USD per ton after rising 3.92%. Propane is priced at 0.74 USD per gallon after gaining 2.98%.

Methanol is trading at 2573 CNY per ton with a 4.30% daily increase. Uranium prices remain stable at 86.15 USD per pound with no daily change. Coking coal is currently trading at 219.50 USD per ton after a slight decline of 0.45%.

Overall the global energy market remains highly active. Oil prices are leading the rally while gas markets are showing regional differences. Traders and analysts continue to track supply trends and demand growth as energy prices stay volatile across global markets.
