Earlier this week, viewers saw Kev return to the village. He stayed hidden. He watched from a distance. It was clear straight away that he was not back for peace. He was never able to accept that Robert chose Aaron over him.
In today’s episode, things turned terrifying. Robert and Aaron were outside together, fixing up a fence. They had no idea they were being watched. Kev was hiding nearby. He was holding a gun.
Suddenly, a shot rang out. Both men collapsed to the ground.
They knew instantly who was behind it. The police were called. Officers later suggested it could have been poachers. Robert knew that was not true. He stayed quiet. He acted brave. He did not admit that he had spoken to Kev the day before. During that meeting, Robert had made it clear that he loved Aaron.
Later on, Victoria arrived at The Mill. She handed Robert and Aaron an envelope she had found on their doorstep. It was not a kind message. Inside was Kev’s wedding ring. There was also a bullet.
Across the road, another disaster was unfolding. Jacob and Sarah were heartbroken. Their gender reveal party had already gone wrong. They then arrived at the registry office expecting to get married. Instead, they walked in on Pollard and Kerry Wyatt tying the knot.
Belle had planned a special celebration for the young couple. It meant nothing now. The surprise wedding ruined everything.
The rest of the village had no idea what Pollard was really doing. He married Kerry for money. He wants to move cash into her name for Jacob’s future.
The awkward romance between Pollard and Kerry brought some laughs. It was brief relief. Kev’s threat still hung over the village.
A happy Christmas does not look likely. Not this year.
