Emmerdale has released a brand-new trailer promising major drama for the coming weeks. Fans will see shocking revelations, tense confrontations, and the fallout from some of the most explosive storylines of 2026 so far.
The trailer confirms that Bear Wolf, played by Joshua Richards, is alive. It also reveals that he is responsible for the murder of Ray Walters, a shocking twist that has left the village reeling. Bear is shown struggling to adjust to life in Emmerdale after being trapped by Celia and Ray, with Paddy expressing concern that Bear “won’t cope” with the trauma he endured.
Ruby finds Bear in a tense moment and asks about Anya, to which he cryptically replies that she’s “gone.” The footage also hints at a police investigation, likely connected to Bear’s revelations about Anya. These events suggest that Bear’s storyline will continue to be central to the drama in the village.
Meanwhile, Cain Dingle faces bad news as he heads to the hospital for the results of his biopsy. The trailer also teases the return of Graham, who first appeared in the soap during the Corriedale storyline earlier in January. In one dramatic exchange, Kim Tate tells her step-grandson Joe: “I don’t believe you can bring the dead back to life.” Graham’s response is chilling: “You are so wrong.”
ITV has promised that this is just the first of four new trailers planned for release this month, each highlighting upcoming twists and suspenseful storylines.
Producer Laura Shaw said: “Corriedale kicked off 2026 with a bang for Emmerdale! The unforgettable January 5th episode kept viewers gripped with major developments like Graham’s surprise return, Ray’s unexpected death, and Cain’s shocking diagnosis. But the excitement is far from over. We have an abundance of explosive, top-tier television planned for the coming weeks, promising to follow up on these thrilling Corriedale events.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 8pm on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
