Emma Stone recently opened up about her time filming The Amazing Spider-Man 2, reflecting on what she called a truly “special time” in her life. Fans loved her on-screen chemistry with Andrew Garfield, who played opposite her as Spider-Man, and Stone admits that the experience was just as memorable behind the scenes.

In a recent interview with Vogue, the two-time Oscar winner shared how much she enjoyed the movie, emphasizing that it wasn’t just the film itself, but the people she worked with that made it so meaningful. “I really loved doing Spider-Man,” Stone said. “I loved everyone I worked with. I met Andrew there, Sally Field, and Marc Webb was wonderful. It was really a special time in my life.”
She went on to explain, “The recurring theme is the people. More than the film itself, it’s the relationships and connections that stick with me for so long. I have only the fondest memories of the whole experience.”
The only downside, according to Stone, was the intense press tour. She recalled traveling to nine countries in just two weeks, leaving her utterly jet-lagged and feeling “truly psychotic the entire time.”
Andrew Garfield’s perspective
Andrew Garfield has also spoken warmly about working on the Spider-Man films. In a 2021 interview with Variety, he described the experience as “beautiful” and highlighted how much he enjoyed collaborating with Stone on set.
