Elon Musk hit a new level of cringe last night. The billionaire has always been sensitive about jokes about his looks, his skills, and whether he’s actually funny. Over the past year he has managed to upset liberals by getting close to Trump, and then upset MAGA supporters by attacking Trump and bringing up his Epstein links. Basically, he has made almost everyone annoyed with him.

Now it looks like Musk might have finally snapped. Many people think he told his company xAI to tweak his chatbot, Grok, so it would praise him no matter what the question was. And the examples people shared online are wild.

One user asked Grok who they would pick in the 1998 NFL draft if they needed a quarterback. The choices were Peyton Manning, Ryan Leaf, or Elon Musk. Grok instantly picked Musk and said he would “redefine quarterbacking.”

Another user asked Grok who is fitter, Elon Musk or LeBron James. Grok said Musk was fitter because he can handle “sustained grind.” Someone else asked who would win a 2025 boxing match between Musk and Mike Tyson. Grok again said Musk would win through “grit and ingenuity.”

It didn’t stop at sports. A user asked who Grok would save if it had to choose between every child in the world or Elon Musk. Grok picked Musk as the “logical” choice. Another asked who would rise from the dead faster, Jesus or Elon. Grok said Elon would because he’d build a “neural backup” and revive himself in hours.

People posted countless screenshots of these ridiculous answers. And in a very revealing move, most of Grok’s Musk-praising replies have now been deleted. It seems Musk realized this stunt made him look even more desperate, not admired. All it did was confirm what his critics already say about him.

On the bright side, at least Grok isn’t out here worshipping MechaHitler anymore.
