Elisabeth Moss recently spoke about her iconic role as Peggy Olsen on Mad Men and expressed a willingness to return to the character if the opportunity ever arose. During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Moss was asked whether she would reprise her role in a Mad Men reboot. She responded with enthusiasm, saying, “I would never say, ‘No,’ to anything like that.” Moss described her time on Mad Men as one of the greatest experiences of her career, emphasizing that she would be “super happy” to play Peggy Olsen again, as she loved portraying the character.

Moss portrayed Peggy Olsen over seven seasons of Mad Men, where her character evolved from Don Draper’s secretary to a groundbreaking female ad executive, a role that was widely praised. Mad Men, created by Matthew Weiner, remains a defining project in Moss’s career.

In addition to discussing her potential return to Mad Men, Moss also reflected on her experience directing herself in The Handmaid’s Tale, particularly during the show’s ongoing sixth and final season. She admitted that she didn’t feel particularly emotional about directing herself but did acknowledge feeling a bit “narcissistic” at times, especially when she made the crew wait while she checked if the shot turned out as intended. Despite these challenges, Moss has shown a deep commitment to both acting and directing, contributing significantly to the series’ success.

The Handmaid’s Tale is currently in its final season, with the first episode released on April 8. New episodes will continue to drop weekly on Hulu.
