Ed Sheeran is planning to add more tattoos to his collection, but these will hold a very special meaning. During an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, the “Shape of You” singer shared the significance behind his existing tattoos and revealed that his daughter has started using his legs as her personal drawing book.

Sheeran explained that the tattoos on his right arm represent the first five years of his music career, while the ones on his left arm symbolize the next five years. He also mentioned that his chest and back feature more recent tattoos, including the footprints of his children, which he got the week they were born. He described these tattoos as especially meaningful because they capture his kids when they were tiny, and now they’ve grown much bigger.

When the conversation turned to his daughter’s artwork, Sheeran shared a heartwarming story about how his legs have become a canvas for her creative expressions. “My legs have actually started being my kids’ drawing book,” he said. His daughter had drawn a little bunny on his leg, and Sheeran said it was nice to see her art with a date attached to it.

The podcast host asked whether he planned to turn his daughter’s drawings into tattoos, and Sheeran confirmed that he was considering it. “Sort of that, yeah,” he responded, adding that his daughter now asks him to get her drawings tattooed. He even mentioned the possibility of getting one tattoo each year for both of his children.

Sheeran, who is a father to two daughters with his wife, Cherry Seaborn, clearly cherishes these family moments and is eager to honor them with meaningful tattoos.
