BTS’ Jin recently touched the hearts of fans during his solo performance in Anaheim, part of his emotional and intimate RUNSEOKJIN\_EP.TOUR. On July 17, he took a moment during the show to open up about the challenges of being on stage without his fellow BTS members. The honesty in his words struck a chord with the audience, offering a rare glimpse into his vulnerability and his deep connection with ARMY.

Standing alone under the spotlight, Jin admitted that arriving in Anaheim filled him with anxiety. He shared that the absence of his members made him feel somewhat incomplete, saying, “I came here very worried actually. So I don’t have my members with me first of all. And after doing shows I feel like I wasn’t in the best condition.” Normally, in moments like that, he would turn to the others for support, recalling how they would reassure him with a simple but comforting “Gwenchana,” meaning “It’s okay.” Without them beside him this time, Jin found himself relying on the crowd.

What moved both him and the audience was the sense of reassurance and warmth he felt from the fans. He explained how their presence filled the emotional space his members usually occupy, stating, “But then today when I came here it’s like instead of members you guys hit the spot and you guys are saying it’s okay it’s okay to me.” With sincerity, he told the crowd, “To me, you guys are just as precious as the members.” The crowd responded with cheers and applause, touched by his openness and emotional honesty. As he continued, he promised that despite the initial nervousness, he would give his best for every performance, ending with a heartfelt, “Thank you ARMY, I love you ARMY.”

The Anaheim concert was a part of Jin’s broader fan concert series, which began in Korea with back-to-back shows at the Goyang Auxiliary Stadium on June 28 and 29. After Korea, he performed in Japan, stopping in Chiba and Osaka from July 5 to July 13. The North American leg commenced with the Anaheim show on July 17, with another performance scheduled in the city the next day. Jin will continue traveling to cities like Dallas, Tampa, and Newark for the rest of July. Following the U.S. leg, the tour will head to Europe, where he’ll perform double-night shows in both London and Amsterdam this August.

Through this solo journey, Jin is not only showcasing his artistry but also deepening his personal relationship with fans. Each performance becomes more than just a concert—it’s a shared space where both he and ARMY can connect emotionally, celebrate his growth, and find comfort in one another’s presence.
