Drew Barrymore has shared that she really wants to reunite onscreen with Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler. Over the years, the three have worked together in different ways, but she hopes they can come together for a remake of Death Becomes Her.
On a recent podcast episode, Barrymore said they’ve tossed around some ideas. She joked about making a Three’s Company movie, but she’s serious about a Death Becomes Her remake. She feels it would be the perfect way to bring the three of them together.
The original Death Becomes Her came out in 1992. It starred Goldie Hawn, Meryl Streep, Bruce Willis, and Isabella Rossellini. The film followed Madeline, who experiments with immortality. It was nominated for Oscars and won for Best Visual Effects.
Barrymore also mentioned that Adam Sandler is the one who could really bring her back into acting. The two have worked together in The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates, and Blended. She added that both Sandler and Aniston know she wants to work with them together. She has also acted with Aniston before in He’s Just Not That Into You.
