Drake isn’t finished with his ongoing beef with Kendrick Lamar

While fans flocked to Coachella for live music, Drake and Adin Ross gave the internet something entirely different on Sunday—a chaotic, unfiltered livestream full of jokes, giveaways, and some not-so-subtle shots at Kendrick Lamar.

Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Graham, confirmed during the stream that he’s back in the studio working on a new project. He hinted that the album could follow the tone of his recent release $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, and might include even more lyrical jabs aimed at his rap rival.

But the most surprising moment? Drake floated the idea of settling things with Kendrick Lamar not in the studio, but in the ring—literally.

Without naming Lamar directly, the God’s Plan rapper suggested he wouldn’t mind squaring up in a celebrity boxing match, describing a gritty, off-camera showdown in a private gym. “If we were fighting, it would be at Hino’s gym or something like that behind closed garage doors,” he said, laughing with Ross as they jokingly imagined the scenario. Drake, who’s trained in boxing for years, seemed serious about the idea, but made it clear this wouldn’t be for show—it’d be personal.

That wasn’t the only jab Drake threw during the stream. He also made a pointed comment about artists allegedly using bots to inflate their streaming numbers—a remark fans quickly interpreted as a dig at Lamar. The accusation echoed conspiracy-laced claims made by DJ Akademiks, who previously hinted that Lamar’s streams might not be as organic as they appear.

While he didn’t outright name Kendrick, the tension between the two artists has been heating up in recent months, and fans were quick to read between the lines. With Drake teasing new music and these public digs getting more creative (and physical?), the feud isn’t cooling down anytime soon.
