President Donald Trump’s childhood home in Queens is up for sale again. The price is now 2.3 million dollars after a full renovation.

The house is in Jamaica Estates. This is a wealthy and quiet neighborhood in New York. The home has five bedrooms and was built in 1940 by Trump’s father, Fred Trump. Trump lived there until he was four years old.

The listing says the house keeps its old charm but now has many modern updates. It also highlights that it carries historical value because a future president once lived there.

The house had gotten into very bad shape in the last few years. Realtor reports said it even had feral cats living inside by 2019.

In February, real estate developer Tommy Lin bought it for eight hundred thirty five thousand dollars. He spent the next eight months fixing everything. He put in about half a million dollars for the renovation. He is now selling it for 2.3 million.

Lin said the house had no water or electricity when he bought it. It was not livable at all. He kept the outside of the house the same, since the brick and stucco design is part of its original look. But the inside was completely rebuilt.

The new interior includes smart home features. There are smart toilets and a smart door lock. The home is about twenty five hundred square feet with a basement of around one thousand square feet. It also has four levels, a bright sunroom, and a wood stove that is believed to be original.

Jamaica Estates is about fourteen miles from Manhattan. The area’s median sale price in September was about one point five million dollars for all types of homes.

This house has sold for high prices before. It went for one point three nine million on election night in 2016. On Trump’s inauguration day in 2017, it sold again for about two point one four million.
