The controversy began when alleged leaked texts surfaced on social media, purportedly from Cardi B, accusing influencer AriTheDon of being intimate with Offset while they were still together.
The supposed text, shared by the social media blogger 1goatalexis, saw Cardi B expressing her anger over accusations that she had slept with Offset, while also claiming that AriTheDon was involved with him during their relationship. Cardi allegedly wrote, “Why you saying that I fud Offset this weekend? Like bh idgaf who you support lying on my py is crazy and he have not fud me neither y’all truly gotta leave me the fk alone we both move on tell him to tell you how he was f*in Ari while we was together but yet I’m wrong for moving on huh? Leave me the f**k alone!!!!”
Meanwhile, AriTheDon responded with a cryptic tweet on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “Coming to a woman as a woman or telling on a woman to her man gotta be top 2 corniest most miserable b*****s alive!” The blogger also shared this tweet, suggesting that Cardi B had tried to involve rapper MoneyBagg Yo in confronting AriTheDon, as hinted by the mention of “Bagg” in the posts.
Cardi B and Offset, who have been married since 2017 and share three children, have made headlines multiple times over the course of their relationship.
