Did Meghan Markle Steal Recipes for Netflix Show With Love, Meghan?

Meghan Markle, famously known for marrying into the British royal family, is now making waves for her new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan. But instead of just applause, she’s now facing heat from some big names in the celebrity cooking world who claim she’s been borrowing their ideas—without giving credit.

According to a report from RadarOnline.com, several well-known TV chefs and “kitchen queens” like Martha Stewart, Rachael Ray, and Joanna Gaines are upset and not keeping quiet about it. The article even says these culinary stars are “ready to roast” Meghan—pun clearly intended.

One particular incident stirring the pot involves a simple pasta recipe. In the debut episode of her show, Meghan whipped up a one-pan pasta using cherry tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, arugula, and Parmesan cheese. Sounds tasty, right? Well, that’s the problem—it’s also very similar to one of Martha Stewart’s signature dishes. The issue? Meghan reportedly didn’t give Martha any shoutout or credit for the inspiration. In response, Stewart subtly clapped back by reposting her original recipe on her website with the cheeky title, “The original and the best!” Ouch.

Insiders say Stewart is “steaming mad” (clearly still on theme) and that if Meghan had just acknowledged Martha’s version, the drama could’ve been avoided. “It would’ve gone a long way toward smoothing things over,” a source mentioned.

And the accusations don’t stop there. Meghan’s lifestyle brand, originally called American Riviera Orchard and now renamed As Ever, is being called out for allegedly copying the aesthetic and approach of Joanna Gaines’ ultra-popular Magnolia brand. While Gaines hasn’t publicly addressed it, sources claim she’s quietly upset. “She’s too polite to say anything outright, but she’s definitely noticed how familiar it all feels,” said one insider.

There’s also talk that With Love, Meghan might’ve borrowed some creative direction from Pamela Anderson’s cooking show, Pamela’s Cooking with Love, with some people even claiming parts were mimicked “shot for shot.”

Interestingly, out of all the lifestyle moguls and celebrity chefs, Gwyneth Paltrow appears to be the only one showing support for Meghan.
