In Season 1 of the superhero series “Invisible,” fans were captivated by the sinister character of D.A. Sinclair, voiced by Ezra Miller, a mad scientist who converts humans into robots. Despite being seemingly defeated in the previous season, Sinclair made a chilling return in Season 2, appearing in a nightmare sequence titled “I’m Not Going Anywhere.”

However, viewers quickly noticed a significant change upon Sinclair’s reappearance: his voice. Unlike Season 1, where Ezra Miller lent his voice to the character, Season 2 featured Eric Bauza voicing D.A. Sinclair. Bauza, known for his work in projects like “X-Men ‘97” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” took on the role with his own unique interpretation.

Entertainment Weekly reached out to both Prime Video and representatives for Ezra Miller for comment on the recasting but has yet to receive a response. The reason behind the change remains a mystery, leaving fans intrigued and curious about the decision.

“Invisible” is based on the Skybound/Image comic of the same name and boasts an impressive cast that includes Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohen, and Michael Cudlitz. Additionally, the series features renowned actors such as Mark Hamill, JK Simmons, Jon Hamm, Sandra Oh, and Seth Rogen, who lend their voices to various characters, adding depth and dimension to the action-packed series.

In recent years, Ezra Miller, known for their role as The Flash, has faced controversy and legal issues. Allegations of disorderly conduct, harassment, assault, abuse, and grooming surfaced against the actor, leading to public scrutiny and backlash. While some charges were dropped through plea deals, Miller issued an apology statement to Entertainment Weekly in 2022, expressing remorse for their past behavior and committing to personal growth and rehabilitation.

Despite the controversies surrounding Miller, there are no plans to recast their role in the DC superhero film “The Flash.” Director Andy Muschietti clarified that Miller will continue to portray the lead role, emphasizing a focus on moving forward and supporting the actor’s journey towards positive change.
