During a recent appearance on The Run-Through with Vogue podcast, the rapper opened up about his personal style and how fashion plays a big role in his relationship with the Fenty mogul. Known for pushing the boundaries of menswear, Rocky got real about his approach to clothing.
“Man, pardon my language, I do what the f*** I want,” he said. “I want to represent; I want to be a catalyst for daring men.”
Rocky added that he doesn’t believe in traditional lines between what’s “masculine” and “feminine.” “I don’t know who drew that line… but I don’t see any barriers,” he explained, emphasizing that he wears what he likes, regardless of how it’s labeled.
That boundary-free mindset also extends to his wardrobe at home—especially when it comes to Rihanna. The artist revealed that the two frequently borrow from each other’s closets. In fact, some pieces mysteriously disappear… and reappear on the other.
“She has pieces she doesn’t even know that I actually stole,” he laughed. “You get what I’m saying?”
Apparently, it happens all the time. Rocky recalled spotting one of his favorite jackets during one of Rihanna’s public appearances. “Sometimes you’ll see her in an interview or a paparazzi photo and I’m like, ‘Wait a second… there goes my Miu Miu f***ing jacket! I’ve been looking for that since 2021!’”
He added with a playful tone, “I gotchu. Bet.”
Their unspoken clothing swap just makes sense—both are style icons, after all. Whether it’s Rocky in a kilt or Rihanna turning maternity wear into runway-worthy looks, the duo has become known for pushing fashion boundaries, individually and as a couple.
Aside from lending jackets to Rihanna (knowingly or not), ASAP Rocky is having a standout year professionally. He’s set to co-chair the 2025 Met Gala on May 5, joining an elite group that includes Colman Domingo, Pharrell Williams, Anna Wintour, F1 champion Lewis Hamilton, and honorary chair LeBron James.
