The first season of Destination X wrapped on July 29, delivering a finale filled with drama, shifting loyalties, and unexpected betrayal. Contestants Biggy, Rick, and Peter battled it out for the grand prize, but Biggy’s hopes of making the top two were dashed when Rick sided with Peter, ultimately ending Biggy’s run.
Following the finale, Biggy appeared on an episode of RHAP: We Know Reality TV, where he reflected on his bond with Rick and the sting of betrayal. “Nobody talked to that guy,” Biggy recalled, describing how Rick was shunned after losing a challenge. Feeling sympathy, Biggy was one of the few who reached out, forming a bond with him. “I got close with Rick, like, from then on,” he shared.
Biggy admitted that other contestants had warned him not to trust Rick, but he chose to ignore their advice. Looking back, he revealed he sensed something was off when Rick lied to him about the white pine cones, a red flag he brushed aside. “I thought I could see myself in the top two with Rick,” he said, only to be blindsided when Rick showed loyalty to Peter instead.
Despite Biggy’s disappointment, Rick Szabo ultimately claimed victory, being crowned the winner of Destination X season 1.
The full season is now available to stream on Prime Video.
