Lee Jae Wook has officially joined the growing list of high-profile cameos in the upcoming Netflix drama Boyfriend on Demand, starring BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and actor Seo In Guk. According to SPOTV News on July 7, the actor will make a special appearance in what is expected to be a short yet impactful role.

This fantasy-romantic comedy is already generating buzz for its unconventional storyline, which follows Seo Mi Rae (played by Jisoo), a webtoon creator who struggles to find time for real-life romance. She ends up using a virtual dating device called the “Monthly Boyfriend,” which generates AI partners. Lee Jae Wook’s role has not been fully disclosed, but many believe he will appear as one of these AI boyfriends—joining previously announced cameo actors Seo Kang Joon and Lee Soo Hyuk, who are also rumored to play similar roles.

Lee Jae Wook’s appearance in Boyfriend on Demand comes fresh off his success in Dear Hongrang (also known as Tangeum), a Netflix romantic thriller where he played a complex character entangled in family secrets and identity deception. He’s also set to appear in the much-anticipated drama Perfect Job, alongside Go Min Si, Kim Min Ha, and Lee Hee Joon—further solidifying his position as one of the most versatile actors of his generation.
