A disturbing new case has emerged in the music world after the remains of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas were found in singer D4vd’s abandoned Tesla. Details about her disappearance are slowly coming to light, with fresh claims from people close to her.
One of Celeste’s former teachers went viral after sharing what he knew about her. He taught her at Lakeland Village School in Lake Elsinore, California, and showed old photos to prove his connection. According to him, Celeste first went missing in early 2024 after meeting D4vd on social media. The teacher claimed she ran away to Hollywood with the singer but was later found and returned home. She allegedly disappeared again in May 2024, and he only recently learned of her death. He said he shared the story with his class as a warning about social media, admitting he knew little about her home life. He also mentioned another student connected to D4vd who was spotted speaking with the singer near Celeste’s family home.
Celeste’s family has also shared troubling details. Her mother reported her missing in April 2024 and made social media appeals, which were later removed. A source said someone called her mother, insisting Celeste was fine and asking them to stop posting about her disappearance, leaving the family scared and unsure how to act. The source added that the police did little when Celeste returned home on her own, and she later went missing again.
Meanwhile, the LAPD has not named a suspect. Detectives from the Robbery and Homicide Division searched a Hollywood Hills home linked to D4vd, taking a computer and several bags of evidence, but no official connection has been confirmed. The cause of death remains unknown. D4vd’s career has also been affected, with several shows canceled or removed from Ticketmaster and other venues.
The teacher’s claims paint a worrying picture, highlighting social media risks and gaps in early intervention. At this point, the case remains under investigation, with many questions still unanswered about Celeste’s tragic death.
