WWE power couple Cody and Brandi Rhodes quietly welcomed their second daughter, Leilani Ella Runnels, on August 29, 2025. The couple shared an intimate Instagram post showing tiny fingers entwined with Brandi’s, celebrating the growing family:
“Welcome to the world, Leilani Ella Runnels. We are in love. Thank you, God, for answered prayers. Cody + Brandi + Libby + Lani = ❤️.”
Their elder daughter, Liberty, is now a big sister, and the family’s wrestling colleagues and fans joined the celebrations online. WWE star Nattie Neidhart wrote, “Congratulations!!!!!! This is amazing!”, while Gail Kim-Irvine remarked, “Wow, kept a little secret!”
From Co-Workers to Soulmates
Cody and Brandi’s love story began in 2011 when Brandi worked as ring announcer Eden Stiles and Cody was already a prominent wrestler. After some persuasion, Brandi agreed to date Cody, realizing he was “the one” by their third date. They got engaged in November 2012 and married on September 12, 2013, at the Swan House in Atlanta.
The couple also stars in the reality show Rhodes to the Top and welcomed their first daughter, Liberty Iris, in June 2021. Cody recently shared how he explains the dangers of his wrestling career to Liberty, recalling a recent injury that raised her concerns.
