The Korean Business Research Institute has released its newest actor brand reputation rankings for July 2025, based on data collected from June 22 to July 22. The monthly list measures how much buzz actors generate by analyzing media coverage, online engagement, communication, and community discussions.
Choo Young Woo takes No. 1
This month, Choo Young Woo grabbed the top spot with a brand reputation index of 7,694,868. He’s currently starring in the hit drama Head Over Heels, and his breakout performance has pushed him ahead of some of the biggest names in the industry. His rising popularity shows how quickly he’s cementing himself as one of the most talked-about stars.
Squid Game 3 stars dominate
Not far behind, Squid Game Season 3 actors made a big splash in the rankings:

Lee Jung Jae placed second with 7,050,788, proving his long-standing star power.

Lee Byung Hun followed in third with 6,578,206, also boosted by his presence in the blockbuster series.

Jo Yuri, a rising star who joined Squid Game 3, surprised many by breaking into the Top 5 at fifth place with 4,322,075.
Meanwhile, Park Bo Gum landed in fourth place with 4,663,633, thanks to his recent success in the drama GOOD BOY, which wrapped up to strong viewer response.
