Theron revealed with a laugh that her daughters Jackson, 12, and August, 9, have “zero respect” for her star power. “There’s a f—— Oscar right there,” she said, holding up the prized statue. “They are so not impressed with me.”

She spent two weeks hanging off a real helicopter that was trying to shake her off like a rag doll — a feat she described as “amazing.” But when she tried to impress her kids with the tale, her youngest wasn’t convinced.
While driving August home from dance class, they spotted a Mission: Impossible poster with Tom Cruise clinging to a yellow plane looking impossibly cool. August’s verdict? “It’s weird, he looks so much cooler than you did when you were hanging off the helicopter.”
