Charli XCX is keeping fans on their toes with the upcoming remix album Brat and it’s completely different but it’s also still Brat, set to release on October 11. Last night (October 1), a billboard spotted on Brixton’s Atlantic Road teased the next guest feature—Shygirl, whose name appeared in a mirrored font on a neon green background.
This follows similar hints featuring Bon Iver in Wisconsin and Tinashe in Pasadena, with both artists rumored to appear on individual tracks.
Remixes already revealed, such as Yung Lean and Robyn on “360,” Troye Sivan on “Talk Talk,” and Billie Eilish on “Guess,” have generated major buzz among fans. Yet, there are still eight mysterious tracks listed as “Track [number]” on the album’s Spotify page, fueling speculation about who might fill the remaining slots.
Fans have heard snippets of Spanish rapper BB Trickz and are betting on Swedish rapper Bladee and The 1975 joining the lineup, with billboards spotted in Stockholm and Manchester, respectively. Rumors are also swirling around Kesha and Caroline Polachek, with cryptic social media posts hinting at their involvement. As the hype builds, Charli XCX has made sure the Brat remix album is a must-listen.
