Transportation stocks like Canadian National Railways (CNR) and Air Canada (AC) experienced moderate declines of 0.28% and 0.73%, respectively, despite strong fundamentals.
The S&P/TSX Completion Index, representing mid-sized Canadian companies, inched up +0.08% to 1,489.92. However, the S&P/TSX 60, which tracks large-cap companies, fell -0.30% to 1,501.60.
In contrast, the S&P/TSX Venture index saw a slight decline of -0.30%, dropping to 591.96, while the S&P/TSX 60 added +0.16%, reaching 1,506.31.
High Arctic Overseas Holdings Corp. (HOH) saw a -8.05% drop to 1.60 CAD, and Mogo Inc. (MOGO) lost -7.65%, reaching 1.81 CAD. Lastly, Lara Exploration Limited (LRA) fell by -7.55%, now priced at 1.47 CAD.
Pollard Banknote Limited (PBL) saw a +11.09% rise to 26.25 CAD, and Pacific Booker Minerals Inc. (BKM) rounded out the top gainers with a +10.66% increase to 1.35 CAD.
BlueSky Digital Assets Corp. (BTC) showed a 164% volatility, gaining 141.51% to reach 0.64 CAD. Blockmint Technologies Inc. (BKMT) also stood out with a 111.76% price surge, reaching 0.18 CAD.

Meanwhile, the S&P/TSX 60, tracking Canada’s 60 largest and most prominent companies, gained 3.59 points, or 0.24%, reaching a position of 1,507.46. This steady climb in the blue-chip index reflects investor confidence in large-cap stocks within the Canadian market.
