Cassie Ventura’s husband, Alex Fine, had to step out of the courtroom briefly during part of Cassie’s testimony in the trial against Sean “Diddy” Combs. Fine, 32, has been attending the proceedings as Cassie gave a powerful, emotional four-day testimony detailing years of alleged abuse by her ex-partner.

Cassie’s testimony, which started on May 13, included claims of long-term sexual and verbal abuse, drug misuse, manipulation, and control by Combs. She described traumatic experiences during their relationship, including physical violence and coercion. This case originated from a 2023 lawsuit that was quickly settled but led to more allegations against the music mogul.

The judge asked Fine to leave the courtroom temporarily because there might be a conflict of interest if he is later called to testify.

After finishing her testimony, Cassie shared a heartfelt message, saying, “I hope that my testimony has given strength and a voice to other survivors and can help others who have suffered to speak up and also heal from abuse and fear.”

Alex Fine also responded to public comments, firmly supporting Cassie’s bravery. He told People magazine, “I did not save Cassie, as some have said. To say that is an insult to the years of painful work my wife has done to save herself. Cassie saved Cassie. She alone broke free from abuse, coercion, violence, and threats.”

Since marrying Cassie in 2019, Alex has been praised for standing by her side throughout the trial. He has been present at nearly all hearings, offering support as Cassie shares difficult and personal details in court. The couple has two children and is expecting their third.
