Canada Market’s top indices: S&P/TSX dips -0.23%, Smallcap adds +0.11%

At 9:42 AM ET, Canadian stock indices displayed mixed movements early today. The benchmark S&P/TSX Composite Index dipped -0.23% to 24,991.89, fluctuating between a high of 25,004.49 and a low of 24,941.88.

On a more positive note, the S&P/TSX Smallcap Index gained +0.11%, reaching 819.19, reflecting mild optimism in smaller-cap stocks. Meanwhile, the S&P/TSX Venture Index experienced a slight drop, shedding -0.06% to 590.14.
