At 12:16 PM ET, Manulife Financial Corp. (MFC) continues to dominate the Canadian stock market with the highest trading volume at 149.44 million CAD, reflecting a 1.66% increase in its stock price to 46.18 CAD. Following closely is Suncor Energy Inc. (SU), with 111.06 million CAD in trading volume and a 2.69% rise in price, now at 56.89 CAD. Enbridge Inc. (ENB) also recorded substantial activity, with 110.87 million CAD in volume and a 1.31% price gain to 60.31 CAD.
Other notable stocks include Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD), which saw 106.6 million CAD in volume and a 1.11% rise to 79.43 CAD, and Royal Bank of Canada (RY), with 103.25 million CAD in volume and a slight 0.06% increase to 172.53 CAD. Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. (CNQ) and Alimentation Couche-Tard (ATD) also showed significant market interest, both seeing more than 70 million CAD in volume.
BMO (Bank of Montreal) and BCE Inc. (BCE) followed with strong trading volumes, while Air Canada (AC) registered a 2.65% gain to 24.83 CAD.
