At 12:45 PM ET, the S&P/TSX index saw a modest gain of +0.22%, reaching 25,044.24, with a high of 25,137.70 and a low of 24,990.08. The S&P/TSX Smallcap index rose by +0.35%, hitting 817.57, while the S&P/TSX Completion index added +0.47%, climbing to 1,486.42.

In contrast, the S&P/TSX Venture index saw a slight decline of -0.30%, dropping to 591.96, while the S&P/TSX 60 added +0.16%, reaching 1,506.31.
