Kim Taehyung, also known as V of BTS, left for Paris on July 4 to attend a fashion event for luxury brand Celine, which is scheduled to take place on July 6. This marks his first official solo appearance since completing his military service on June 10. He arrived at Incheon Airport early in the morning, dressed casually in a white Henley top, flared jeans, and carrying a Louis Vuitton duffle bag — a look that was both relaxed and stylish, seemingly chosen for a long flight.

Unfortunately, the scene at the airport was far from calm. A large crowd of fans gathered to see him off, and the situation quickly became overwhelming. In videos shared by fans, V can be seen struggling to move through the crowd, while his security team tries to manage the chaos. At one point, the crowding led to a dangerous moment when someone reportedly fell, nearly causing a stampede. Several people got alarmingly close to the artist, raising concerns about his safety and personal space.

After arriving safely, V took to the fan platform Weverse to share a short message and a photo of himself. In his caption, he gently reminded fans, “ARMY, you know that right? It’s dangerous\~ Let’s be safe/(do it) safely next time\~” His tone was calm and kind, showing that while he was happy to see the fans, he wished the situation had been handled with more caution. His message was clear — he appreciates the love but wants everyone, including himself, to stay safe.

Many fans were quick to support him, expressing concern over how dangerous the situation had been. Some called out the crowd at the airport, saying it went against repeated requests from BTS members to avoid such gatherings. Others questioned whether those who created the chaos could really be called true fans, especially when the artists themselves have continually asked for space and safety.

Along with his message, V posted a second photo on Weverse, but he deleted it almost instantly. Fans joked about how fast it disappeared, saying they didn’t even have time to comment before it was gone. Some hilariously called it “the fastest thing in the world,” adding a bit of humor to what had otherwise been a stressful day.

While the excitement around V’s appearance is understandable, the incident has reminded fans once again of the importance of respecting idols’ personal space, especially during travel. With V now in Paris for the fashion event, fans are hoping the rest of his schedule unfolds smoothly and safely.
