BTS members Jimin and Jungkook have officially completed their mandatory military service, marking a joyful and emotional return on the morning of June 11, 2025. The pair, who enlisted together in December 2023, served side-by-side in the Army’s 5th Infantry Division Artillery Brigade. Their discharge was met with heartfelt cheers and immense love from fans and fellow members, setting the tone for BTS’s long-awaited reunion.
Although there was no formal ceremony, the morning began at Yeoncheon Public Stadium in Gyeonggi Province, where the duo greeted waiting fans and media with bright smiles and warm gestures. The atmosphere, even without a planned event, was filled with genuine emotion and excitement. Fans who had gathered early in the day waved banners and held flowers, eager to welcome the two idols back after 18 months of service. Jungkook appeared a bit reserved in front of cameras at first, while Jimin’s joy radiated through his interactions with the crowd.
