June 10, 2025, marked an emotional and long-awaited milestone for BTS fans worldwide as RM and V officially completed their mandatory military service. The day was filled with celebration, heartfelt moments, and joyous reunions—not only with fans but also with their fellow labelmates. One of the most touching highlights came from their juniors at BIGHIT MUSIC, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), who welcomed their seniors back with warmth and sincerity.
During their Weverse Live broadcast held shortly after their discharge, RM and V shared their thoughts on military life and reconnected with fans after an 18-month break. The duo also proudly displayed the surprise welcome gifts prepared by their hoobaes from TXT. Among the thoughtful tokens were elegant flower bouquets and handwritten letters—gestures that deeply moved both BTS members.
As RM read the notes aloud, he affectionately mentioned each TXT member—Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai—and thanked them warmly. Referring to them as “our friends from TXT,” he acknowledged the support and emotional sincerity behind their messages. V, visibly touched, reacted with an impressed “Wow,” showing just how meaningful the gesture was to both artists. The moment became a heartfelt display of intergenerational affection within the BIGHIT family.
It’s worth noting that TXT is currently BTS’ only junior group under the main BIGHIT MUSIC label, as other HYBE artists belong to different subsidiaries. This makes the exchange between the two groups all the more significant, highlighting their direct mentorship and close label bond.
The live session also offered fans a bit more of the cherished BTS x TXT camaraderie. RM mentioned hearing TXT’s recent track “Love Language” and gave it a thumbs-up review, saying, “It’s good.” He revealed that he stumbled upon it while curating his workout playlist and often sets his music algorithm to include K-pop, with TXT naturally in the mix. One of the TXT members had apparently written in the letter, asking if the BTS members had listened to the song, creating a wholesome moment of shared musical appreciation.
Overall, the broadcast didn’t just celebrate RM and V’s return to civilian life—it underscored the strong, genuine bond between BTS and TXT. It was a beautiful testament to the sense of family and support within BIGHIT, delighting fans who have long cherished the respectful and affectionate relationship between the two generations of artists.
