BTS is back in South Korea after spending nearly two months in Los Angeles, and the members are now focusing on their new album. Jungkook recently answered a fan question, clarifying that while the songs have been composed, they haven’t recorded them yet, and the process will begin soon. J-Hope gave fans a glimpse of the group’s work in a recent Instagram story, sharing photos from a recording studio at HYBE. In one image, he sported casual clothes with a big headset, suggesting active involvement in the album’s production, while another selfie showed his laid-back outfit with a luxury watch as the only visible accessory.

The album is slated for a spring 2026 release, with March being the likely month, and rumors of a pre-release single are already circulating. During a recent livestream, Jungkook mentioned that while the group focused on production while in the U.S., the actual recording process will take place now in South Korea. Reports also indicate that BTS will return to the U.S. soon to film a music video for one of the tracks, with the concept and plans already finalized. J-Hope also celebrated a solo win at the Korean Broadcasting Awards, marking his first individual accolade in nine years, following BTS’ group win in 2021.
