BTS may be in Los Angeles to prepare for their much-awaited Spring 2026 comeback album, but it seems like the boys are making just as many waves in the gym as they are in the studio. Fans already know that V and Jungkook are fitness enthusiasts, but according to Physical: 100 star Ma Sun Ho, their workout sessions have turned into a full-on group activity while the members are staying in LA.
In a recent chat on singer Kim Jong Kook’s YouTube channel, Ma Sun Ho shared how this all started. At first, it was just Taehyung (V) and Jungkook hitting the gym together, enjoying their time while balancing music prep with fitness. Word must have spread about how fun and energizing their workouts were, because soon after, leader Namjoon (RM) joined in. From there, it snowballed—SUGA and Jimin eventually tagged along too, until the gym turned into a mini BTS reunion spot where the guys were getting ripped side by side.
Naturally, Kim Jong Kook couldn’t resist asking about Jungkook’s progress, and the update was jaw-dropping. Ma Sun Ho revealed that Jungkook has gained a lot of muscle during his military service, describing him as “almost a bodybuilder.” Coming from a professional in the field, that’s no small praise. And the compliments didn’t stop there. Jong Kook mentioned how V had appeared on his channel before, and Ma Sun Ho hinted that fans can expect V to make an appearance on his YouTube as well—a treat for those who love seeing idols mix fitness with fun.
This isn’t the first time fans have heard about the members’ impressive physiques. RM himself has previously admitted that V’s body transformation during his time in the military’s SDT unit left him stunned, even saying that Taehyung’s build might surpass his own and even Jungkook’s, who has long been regarded as the most muscular member of the group. And of course, with J-Hope cheekily showing off his toned figure every chance he gets, ARMY can’t help but imagine the day when all seven members flex their post-military physiques together.
So while the music comeback is definitely the main event, it looks like BTS is giving ARMY plenty to look forward to visually as well. Between the recording sessions, the bonding workouts, and the playful teasing among themselves, the Bangtan Boys are clearly having the time of their lives in LA.
