BTS’ Jungkook officially returned from his 18-month military enlistment on June 11. He served actively in the ROK Army’s 5th Infantry Division alongside fellow member Jimin, with whom he trained and worked closely as buddy soldiers. Since his discharge, anticipation has been building around his next move, especially with rumors pointing to a possible solo tour. Now, a new sign has emerged: custom in-ear monitors.
A recent Instagram post by soundcat_custom_gallery showcased Jungkook’s latest set of performance in-ears. The sleek, gold-plated design in a mirrored finish immediately caught fans’ attention, sparking speculation that he’s preparing for live stages again. While neither Jungkook nor BIGHIT MUSIC has made any official announcement, the timing aligns with earlier leaks from ticketing insiders that hinted at a solo concert tour starting in September. With multiple cities rumored to be part of the tour schedule, fans are hopeful that the Standing Next to You singer is about to re-enter the music scene in a big way.
Meanwhile, BTS as a group has also confirmed major comeback plans. During a livestream on July 1, all seven members shared that they have already begun working on new music. They’re aiming to release their full group album during Korean Spring 2026, which runs from March to May. This comeback aligns with earlier rumors and marks their first group album in several years. A world tour will follow, making it their first as a full unit since 2018.
RM revealed that the group is planning a “mobile song camp” approach to the creative process, moving together across various cities while writing and recording new material. They also intend to stay in sync with Jin’s solo activities, ensuring that all members can contribute to the group’s new project regardless of overlapping schedules. The approach reflects both a deep bond and a commitment to evolving creatively as a group.
With Jungkook’s solo signs and BTS’ full-group return both in motion, fans are entering a highly anticipated new chapter filled with music, reunions, and long-awaited live performances.
